ReplyDeleteA blog on the Guardian Katine Project website highlights how the Ugandan government is also using mobile phones to provide healthcare to rural parts of the country.

The Katine Project is a joint rural development initiative in eastern Uganda between the Guardian Newspaper and the African NGO Amref. The website not only documents the progress of the project but seeks to provide the context for development reporting and a more wholsome view of life in rural Africa.
