ReplyDeleteIn the wake of the State of the Environment Uganda report, (cited in a Guardian Katine Project blog) which highlights the problem of deforestation as a result of Uganda's high population growth rate - mostly in rural areas where firewood is the only energy source.
ReplyDeleteIf the predictions are accurate, exploring sustainable energy sources is a matter of urgency so as to prevent environmental, economic and social catastrophe.
