Nii, the journalist did not get the memo. Africans in da HOUSE! Homeboy was chillin' with him 4 a minute but then when he saw homie was testing him, he stepped on it. He is no dindirin ["mugu"] like the journalist seemed to assume.
One great person said, "don't judge a book by it's color". This journalist/reporter picked on the last person in the world that knows his stuff. Derrick is a eloquent, vibrant, humble, and motivating individual who reminds me in some ways of Barack Obama. This reporter I'm sure is rethinking his stance of the youth of this country and of the black man.
