Waste Enterprisers - Delivering new revenue streams to Sanitation

Waste Enterprisers Ltd. (WE) is an innovative social enterprise that aims to reduce the financial burden of adequate sanitation through productive and profitable reuse. WE accomplishes this goal by harnessing the resource value of human waste and allocating a portion of our profits from reuse back to our host facility, or otherwise into the sanitation value chain.
In addition to implementing, owning, and operating “waste-based” enterprises, WE also engages in research and development on emerging reuse technologies for wastewater and fecal sludge (FS), and accompanying financial models to help incentivize and enable complete sanitation.
WE is based in Ghana with activities in several African countries.

African tech Hot Spots - Business Daily Kenya

The image “http://www.bdafrica.com/templates/ts_bdafrica_ver5/images/masthead10.jpg” cannot be displayed, because it contains errors.

Business Daily has listed some investment hot spots on a PDF that are ripe for investments. Most of these investments I've covered before, except for electronics assembly in Africa.

From Business Daily:

Retail - Telecoms dealer
New Media - Television Innovator
Power - Alternative energy supplier
Recycling - E-waste capitalist
Business Process Outsourcing (I've dabbled in this area) - Outsourcing specialist
Assembler - Local PC manufacturer
Software - Linux or other open source tools
